Purchased new, put $17,000 down, financed the rest at 8.75%, seems like I'm taking it up the a$$ on the interest but when I bought the car in 11/2000 I couldn't get a better rate. Total I'm paying in interest over 60 months is only $4400 though. Monthly payments are $377.

Bought new (<5 miles) finance. $0 down I pay off $1000/mo, I pay almost twice finance to cutdown the interest rate, no penalty for early payoff.

Was planning on used but new on impulse when I saw the Yellow.

Um, as far as the dealer was concerned, cash.

But it meant I financed a bit more in terms of a property purchase, so you could say I've got a mortgage on it secured by the property!

This was a 2001 back at the end of 2000, got them to include the spoilers at cost and got a good deal on the extended warranty (after researching here)!

So, you can think of it as a cash deal or financed at 5% over 30 years! {grin}

Oh yeah, and picturing it that was makes it a tax deduction! Hehe..

Enjoy,

Randy
