After two years of feeling like I was being hunted by Mustangs, BMW's, Boxters and an
assortment of other imports, I finally took the plunge and added
the Comptech Supercharger.
Frankly, all of the talk about which is "better", Comptech or Vortech is irrelevant. Both of these units transform the S2K into
a different machine.
I no longer wonder "if" I can keep up with some of the big boys, I KNOW I can...and walk away from most of them as well.
Now, I not only get the sound of the Vtech, but punch of the boost as well.
There's nothing sweeter than the look on a GT driver's face
in my rearview mirror; or a Boxter brother who can't figure how
a car that's half the price can show it's pipes on any highway.
I confess..I'm becoming a hunter.

Isn't it time for all s2K's to be upgraded...at the factory? Would you have paid 3 grand more for 90 horsepower? Any other "Hunters" out there?

Well, I guess if you think about it, in a way I paid about $10K for an extra 90 ponies already. Ever heard of a Miata?

If a SC would have been available as a factory option, I would have gotten it. As it stands I am 33 mos or 34,000 away from that particular option.
