Yeah I got a $500 check today for a rental. So I decided to upgraded a few parts.

Beat me to it. It's bad for your paint in the long run OP.

This is not necessarily true any more. I believe it depends how everything was painted and dried. But i would ask the shop what to do.

We're all glad to hear you were not harmed physically. I believe that the S2000 is a very well constructed and generally safe car. However,when you get rear ended by a large vehicle with a high front end, there is very little physical distance between the rear bumper and the back of your head, with the obvious painful repercussions if that other vehicle's front bumper overrides your rear bumper. This is one situation where you are very much at risk. So very happy that the back of your head is intact.

Hey thanks! I definitely see what you're talking about. I do have a cusco roll cage, so this MAY help if this were to ever happen.

man, i understand how you feel. i was without my s for a couple of months due to blowing the engine. it sucked!! the day i got it back though, was special!
