Default I absolutely hate the cupholders in the AP2

I can't count how many times my drink has spilled from tipping over in the cupholder in my S, but today was the worst. I decided to pick up starbucks before work, and I even got a medium in a large cup so that it wouldn't spill, but as I slowed down at the first stoplight, the little divider thing in the cupholder folded down and the drink tipped forward, spilling almost half of its contents all over the radio and dash! Now all of my radio buttons are stuck together and I have sticky spots on my dash and shifter (it was a peppermint mocha, so it was kind of sugary).

Does anyone know of a quick fix so that my cupholder will actually hold a cup securely?

I hate them too. My solution - No drinks in the car. Or have the passenger hold your drink.

I can't find it with the search function, but there was a thread about 8 months ago on the perfect aftermarket cup holder installation. I performed it and it worked great. I will keep looking for the thread.

When I put a drink in the holder closer to the glove compartment, I pull up on the divider to make sure it's all the way up. I've never had a drink spilled.

I've got one that swivels. It moves with acceleration and deceleration and left turns. Right turns are the only ones I have to slow down for.
