hello to everybody, i register to this forum b/c in less than a month i will buy my s2000, probabily a 2001 or 2002.

currently i have a 300zx, civic, eclipse.

i want to know if s2000 are reliable cars?? at what year will be the best to buy, 01 or 02? or it doesnt really matter what year, just go by the mileage?

To answer your questions, the S2000 is as reliable as any other Honda. Most owners have reported few problems.

There are some changes between the different model years. The biggest ones are from 01-02 and 03-04. Since you didn't mention the possibility of buying an 04, HERE is a good place to read up on the differences between a 00-01 and an 02-03.

Other changes were had in '04 (major) and some more in '06 (minor).

actually i was lying, i cant afford a 02...

it have to be a 00-01....

i went to autotrader and all the 02 are 22,000 and up...

a 01 i can find it aroung 18,000...

do u guys really think is worth it to spend 5g's more just for a 02 s2000??

If you need more cash, sell the Eclipse, the Civic, and the 300Z. After you drive the S2000, you won't want to drive any of them anymore

remember, its a honda! and all years are reliable.
mine is the oldest '00- like any car, as long as you find one that has been taken care of it will be fine.

i will sell the 300zx, there is no point of having it anymore, cuz both of them are 2 seaters...

the civic sedan is my daily drive, and my eclipse turbo is my fast car, but at the same time i am tire on how unrealible are those eclipses..

i guess i will buy a 01 honda s2000. thx 4 your answers.
