Actually it's a accelerometer, but anyway

I found I can accelerate at about 0.73g and brake at about 1.47g When I get more time, I'm going to get some quarter mile times and 0-100km/h times and see how accurate the HP estimater is.
Has anyone else got one of these? What's your experience with it?
Yep, That's what it means. I'm not 100% sure the numbers are accurate, because even a 5 degree incline or decline on the road can throw off the numbers a fair bit.

Just off the top of my head, 100km/h-0 at 1G takes 4 seconds, and 55 metres. (excluding reaction time) That's not all that quick.
Although, I'm not sure now how accurate those figures are. I recalibrated tonight and ran the "Kurnel Quarter Mile" (It's kinda like doing the Kessel Run in under 2 parsecs... Well actually it's a deserted industrial area with known markers at a quarter mile left over from when illegal street racing was done there) With two people (300 pounds combined) in the car and about 200 pounds of equipment in the back, I ran about a 7.5 0-100 without slipping the tyres. If I had dumped harder, I could probably have cut off another 1/2 second.
The odd thing is, though, entering my car's weight at 2950 pounds, it calculated my engine horsepower at 310hp. It should only be around about 240.
Has anyone actually got the mythical 6.2s 0-100 speed that Honda claim?
Using a Vericom VC2000 (a relatively advanced and complex accelerometer based system for its day, a bit large and expensive today, but still very accurate) I have recorded the following numbers on DOT legal race tires (Yoko A032R) and race brake pads:
Peak decel - 1.42 G
Avg decel (60mph - 0) - 1.19 G
Braking distance (60 mph - 0) - 101 ft
Peak acceleration G - 0.91 G (high rpm launch)
Avg accel G in 1st gear - 0.55 G
0-60 (best ever) - 5.5 seconds
Never had a real chance to run the quarter mile though with the accelerometer. On OEM tires the numbers were noticeably lower for braking.
