Default I did something stupid and now need help.

Well I accidentally got some superglue on my dash and then I wiped if off. I got the superglue off but now it leaves a white spot on my dash where the superglue was. I tried using Armour All or some dash protectant and the spot was gone until the Armour All dried up and then the white spot came back. Any idea how I can get rid of the white spot? Thanks for your help.

But then wouldn't it just have black spots? Since it'll be a darker black than the rest of the dash.

Is the white there because some of the glue was left behind in the texture of the plastic? If yes, I suspect you will have to clean out the grooves. Does SuperGlue sell any kind of dissolvent? If yes try some on a remote area to make sure it does not melt the plastic. Then try cleaning it with a stiff brush or a toothpick in the cracks. Good luck.

LOL. My wife spilled some super glue on our Corian kitchen counter. ATE A HOLE IN IT.

I was about to say that...but isn't nail polish remover just something to get rid of the superglue? Not clean up what the superglue ate through
