When I had the same incident the superglue didn't eat through the vinyl just left a white spot.

There is a solvent for superglue. I don't have any now but I did use it in dental school lab stuff.

Do a search on this and don't experiment with other stuff. When you get it, try on a hidden spot before applying.

acetone is the recomended super/crazy glue solvent. try it on a no-show area first.

you could try rubbing alchohol also, no nailpolish remover did not fade the vinyl for me
