I'm 6'4" and pretty good sized. But I'm not telling you my secrets. We already have more than enough members who are condescending and bigoted.

In any case, I went to another dealer today (Tampa Hondaland - www.hondaland.com), and got to really sit in the car for the first time. Getting in was a bit of a hassle, but once I was in, it fit like a glove. I actually feel less cramped than in my GS-R.

I think I've decided that the best way to find one for a test drive is to keep my eye out for used ones. At Hondaland they said in order to go on a test drive, you have to get pre-approved, do the paperwork, agree on a price (they list at $7,000 over MSRP), and then they'll let you take one for a spin. If you don't like it, you can back out then - but who isn't gonna have a mile-wide smile at that point?

The good part of the story - if there is one - was a remark that the sales guy (CJ) made. He said, "if someone's gonna buy a car like this, do you think they'd want any miles on it?" I felt that was a really good point. CJ is their internet sales guy, and he's looking at buying a Suzuka Blue S2000 soon. I told him to check out this site - it's an awesome wealth of information.

In any case, hopefully I can find a used S2000 to drive sometime soon, and be ready to purchase my S2000 in the summer. Unfortunately, fianc

you can later on get a lower seat that'll give you another 2" in clearance.

Yeah.. I've read that. Unfortunately, clearance isn't the problem. I have plenty of clearance with the top up in the S2000 - about an inch and a half more than in my GS-R. The only place where I'm limited is the distance between the pedals and me. Heh.. The only way I could get a bit more comfortable would be to remove a few inches of the trunk, and skoot the seat back more

I think I'm gonna be fine though

If you guys are still looking to order your cars, my dealer will sell you one for less than 30k. I paid 29,900 for mine. BLU/BLU, will be in, in a few weeks. If you need dealer info PM me. They can arrange an inclosed carrier for delivery anywhere in the US.

I am also in the 6'4" 235# range...love the car. My problem is the right knee while driving - my leg is pretty snug between the wheel and the console/transmission tunnel. Have any of the 6'+ owners tried either a seat replacement or a steering wheel (smaller diameter) replacement? What was the effect? Getting in and out isn't much of a problem. I like the stock wheel and would love a tilt feature that would raise the wheel by 3/4". I love the s2000, but I have to admit that the Audi TT and Boxster have much more room...
