hey Bane... when you installed your K&N did you have the instruction?

You are to remove the 4 pipe bent thing
look at the center and you will see the diff... replumb it

How is this intake? does it bog down with heat? Would it be a good choice to use in Florida

 

I just got the car Wednesday night
and the wheels are off until friday, cant drive it.

I think Ricks make a extra snorkel....

and I might cut the FAKE intakes open in the front bumper

It's got be just as bad in the engine comp with K&N, as the stock box....

 

Hardly.....the stock airbox draws air from right above the radiator . This system (and a few others) routes over to the corner of the engine bay where there is a hole in the fender. The foam lining on the K&N setup seals the intake against the hood and draws from the fenderwell.

Cutout the fake vent on the passenger's side grill for the max effect.

(My Comptech Intake is designed to perform in a similar fashion)
