It seems really odd to me that people are so weight conscience until it comes to adding a useless piece of bling that can't even be seen.

X braces just seem like a mod for mod's sake.

I got mine to make the car more rigid over the several sets of train tracks I drive over on my way to work each day. It does help for my intended purpose, but I feel absolutely no difference in day to day (pretty aggressive) driving.

I didn't get it for bling

Hehe! I got my Spoon only because it was coming off another owner's car and he let me have it for a song. I guess you could say I got it for "bling". I've got a lot of useless junk on my car (and darn proud of it).

Me too

And I'm always adding more

If you've got the money to throw at your "toy", then why hold back?

^ Exactly! It's great that my dailer driver can also double up as my "hobby". Hobbies don't always make any sense but the purpose is to give the person joy and entertainment. Putting stuff on an S2000 or doing stuff to one can't be any worse than collecting rocks or stamps or adding bottle caps to a VW bug.

Ok i thought i was going to feel something really different but I didn't. I feel no change.. What do you guys think?
from my bit of research, the general consensus is that the x-brace helps most on bumpy, windy roads. the car feels more "settled" when going high speed around rough/lumpy corners.

dude, you're in Florida. the only bumps in those roads are the box turtles crossing the street.

I'm in Cali, with narrow, twisty roads cutting through the hills that are semi-rarely maintained, where the pot holes are just filled-in with a lump of asphalt. I'm planning on getting a Muz x-brace soon, and will let you guys know if I feel a difference.

I bet the people in Florida wished that were true - they actually have some of the worst paved roads in the United States

now I'm thinking of selling my original digrappa x-brace. IMO it's the most elegant design...
