Default I just cant do it. **please Help**

Please help. I cant shift quikly into second.. Everytime i try it grinds.... i KNOW its a timing problem, all mental, but i cant correct it.. I CAN CHIRP THIRD AND EVEN FOURTH...i shift SO fast every other gear.. but when i go to SLAM it into second.. GRIND.. its a timing problem because i let a very experienced driver drive my car and hes never grinded second when slamming it into gear.. i think my hand isnt moving as fast was my clutch therefore by the time i put it in gear my foot is coming off the clutch and GRINDDDD.. any tips? thanks

Hmm...chirping 3rd and 4th doesn't sound right, unless you have a factory freak!

Try this... The shift movement from frist to second is sooo small that a couple of friends who were given the honor of driving my car also had the same problem. Their feet were behind their the hand movement since it doesn't take very much movement to shift 1-2. Give your clutch foot a fraction longer to engage the clutch, then make the 1-2 shift. Unless you have the 1-2 grind, this will hopefully help.
