Is the Honda Ti shifter an aftermarket part from Honda? I thought that all S2Ks came with a Ti shifter.

BTW: I'm new to the board... don't drive an S2K... but I'd sure like to! Hahahaha.

How much does this Ti shift knob cost? Does it have the 6-speed shift pattern on top? What are the advantages of Ti over aluminum? Does the knob just screw onto the threads? How high does it sit on the shifter?

Got lots of questions, huh? I'm thinking about replacing the Momo Cobra I got about a year ago when I first got my GS-R.

The shifter knob is about $112 available from our sponsor honda-accessories.com. It just screws on to the threads and has the six-speed + R pattern on the top.

Click the honda-accessories.com banner and it will take you right to it.

DANG that's expensive for a knob. Guess it's the titanium. I'd go for it... but it has that 6-speed pattern.. and my car's a 5-speed.

What's the deal with the voodoo short shift knob? What's it look like.. and I'm guessing that it sits low on the shifter to make the throws shorter?

CKim,

Here's the VooDoo stuff: http://www.teamvoodoo.com/Voodoo/Knobs.html

You go to Dartmouth huh? I live in NH, so not far from there... My stepmother did all the quilts and window hangings in the Hanover Inn up there. Cool place.

Hey...

Yup.. I go to Dartmouth.... probably drive the only fixed up Integra in the entire state of NH. Did you know that there's a new speedshop in West Leb? I wonder how that's gonna do.

Thanks for the link to the Voodoo stuff. I think I may just stick with my momo cobra.. or maybe go for a carbon fiber momo f16. Anyone know if carbon fiber gets cold in the winter/hot in the summer? The aluminum parts of my shift knob turn into ice in the winter.

Greg,

It looks great! You did a good installation job. Now, how about relining that slightly wrinkled arm rest with some new black perforated leather? You can be my first experiment with that job -- a bit more padding and some new leather. Game?

BTW, is your car in storage, or is it still in the large snowbank you showed us a few weeks ago? And where did you get those floor mats with the S2000 logo on them ?
