All I know is that #2 piston is out.
Connecting rod is broken and it made some damage inside the cylinder(?) in the short block.
Crankshaft is ok and timing belt is still good.
I found these out by visiting the dealer, not from the guy I talked to from honda.
He just didn't have any clue.

Wonder what cause that. I'd like to hear what they say that is the result of, and how you are at fault for causing it. That's not the result of a mechanical overrev, most likely, so I'm curious.

You can probably buy a complete used motor with head for the amount you mention. Tell the dealer that you aren't paying that amount for the head. Offer them $300 or they can keep it. Take the remains of your blown motor and sell it to help defer expenses.
What year is your car? And you are right...you don't know how the car was treated by the prior owner. But considering it is an S2k, it is less likely it was driven like a Camry.
