I would suggest that the Comptech is the better start for your system.
My reasoning is that you say the money is irrelevant, and you intend to be upgrading the boost. So you are going to be looking at EM and Injectors anyway. So any advantages that the Vortech kit might appear to have will be irrelevant anyway. And as several Vortech users have reported lean conditions with stock kits I'm not sure it's the best start point.
Comptech has a long history of developing Honda engines and seems to back up their products nicely. Even AHM (or at least some of their dealers) recognise them.

Aus has good points. If price has no bearing, the Comptech installs easier. Since you would be replacing The FMU injectors, ESM, Pulley, and Adding a Stand alone EMS. It all depends what you want to start with. Niether kit will be "stock". Being I'm cheap, I bought a used satin Vortech.
