I use Amsoil 75-90 and have never had any problems.

If you change your fluids often and use any quality oil you won't have a problem (assuming you don't abuse the diff.)

Any quality 75W-90 will be fine. Of all the differential failures I doubt any of them were a result of the brand of fluid or synthetic v. dyno base oils. Most diffs fail because the owner abused the tranny, the rest fail because they loose all the fluid (bad seals), or they never change it.

The same can be said for motor oil. People spend so much time debating what brand or type is better when simply checking your oil level every time you fill up is 100X more preventative to engine failure than oil brand.
That is exactly right.
