One or more medium pizzas in the boxes fit perfectly in the well. When driving with the top down, the backwash of wind brings a wonderful aroma of the pizza to the driver and passenger, anticipating their reward at the end of the drive (glad I didn't get the aeroscreen option!!!).

Ahhhhh storage space. Tell you what, people, I miss my Integra. That damned hatchback could swallow my entire taken-apart full-size futon, with the mattress, and three backpacks. That car was a miracle.

Now I've got a trunk. Sure, for daily errands, it's fine. Your smaller errands, anyway...

Does anyone know if a skimboard fits in the boot? I assume you can't slide it behind the seats as the centre console sticks out?

Skimboard size is about 42" long ?

Questionable, but I'm going to say no.

I just measured my trunk and the opening is just under 42" at the widest point and about 55" wide internally and about 2 feet deep not counting the spare tire protrusion.

OT, our trunks are very useful. Case in point: the last 4th of July weekend, me and my friends had a beach day. However, I had to pick my lady friend up, and on the way to the beach, we also had to go grocery shopping. Needless to say, 5 bags of groceries and some beach gear (blankets, an ice chest albeit a small one, and my friend's beach bag) all fit in the trunk. Impressive to say the least.

Did no one else realize this was a thread revival from October 2000?

And to the necromancer who revived this thread...why don't you get a piece of cardboard the size of the skim board and try fitting it (I'm assuming you're either thinking of buying a skim board and want to be able to take it home or you don't own an S and you want to take your skim board in your buddy's car)

Why does it matter? Why do people always feel the need to point this out? They're discussing the topic and at least someone bothered to use search. Pointing out the age of the thread does nothing to add to the discussion. If you don't want old threads bumped then don't post in them.

Not only is the trunk awesome, adding a roll bar also gives you plenty of ways of carrying crap without destroying your interior
