I have no idea what the proper name is for a black exterior, interior and top on an S2000. I've heard others use this term when describing many vehicles with the same color pattern.

Jason G, congrats on a great buy! Sorry about the Miata.
Hope you enjoy your new S2000 as much as we all do.
Jason G,
I know you will love your car!
Did the previous owner have any mods done?
Mine is also my daily driver and I use it to get to the golf course every weekend. My bag fits absolutely perfect in the back with a little maneuvering of the long driver.
Welcome to the site. We will know you by your silly grin!!

I know one thing for sure, Mindcore. There's no way two bags are going in that lunch box for a trunk.
My friend used to _hate_ taking the Miata to the golf course as he'd be carrying 6 woods in his lap.

Cheers, Mark. No Mods whatsoever. And to be honest with you, there's nothing I want to upgrade on the car, except possibly the stereo and the shift knob. It's absolutely perfect as is.

I have no idea how I'm going to survive a 12 hour shift tomorrow. I'm still dreaming and sleep is the farthest thing from my mind.

4.5 hours of sleep this morning
Fortunately, today's the only day I work this week. My cockpit time will be minimal with another storm coming through the bay area.
Guess I'll spend the time looking for mods that I don't need.

You said your Miata was under 1 foot of water....? That seems like hardly anything at all... I'm sure with just changing out some fluids, replacing the interior carpeting, and maybe the seats, it would be fine.... I'm amazed they totaled it, since it was a late-model car.
