I must say...
wow.
This car is everything you guys and gals said it would be... I have had it one week now and really had a chance to drive it extensively tonight. For a car that I never test drove, never saw (bought out of state), sat in 2x at the local dealer (same color car) and never even heard the engine running till it was being pulled off the truck by my house. I cant wipe the smile off my face for the decision I made.
It took 3 weeks of dealing with dealerships and banks (I still dont have all the papers) and it sat in my garage with out plates for a week (painful, but makes a good orinament in the garage) It was all worth it.... and it was the folks here that helped make that decision a reality.
So... if you see a yellow/black tooling around Plano/north dallas its prolly me

excellent! another texan with a stook! I think we have more than any other state, how about that? I'll see you out on the roads up here. and if you can make it, go out to TMS this weekend, a bunch of us will be out there.
Hey tsunami,
Congrats on the car purchase. When I went to buy my car, I almost did the same thing. I didn't have to test drive it or even see it. I just wanted to buy it. The salesman had to convince me to take it for a test drive.

I certainly can empathize with the grin factor. My last car was a Mitubishi 3000GT (with the bigger engine than the base stealth, but not the VR-4), and it was nice and all. Then I bought my s2k. Every time I go out in that thing, I have a grin plastered across my face! My 3kgt got totalled in January, and I bought a 3.2TL to replace it. Driving home I called my friend and said, "it's nice and all, but its pretty boring." Now, the car is growing on me, but I still grin every time I start up that 9k buzz bomb.
