Default I need a little info, please

I like the sound of the S2000, I am looking for a way to get louder at lower RPM's, and idling. What would I need to replace? cat back system? test pipe? header? take out resonators? Perhaps some brands or sound clips if anyone has them.

I am not familiar with this type of stuff. I just know my car is very quiet when I am idling. I would like it to be louder. Also most of the sound is from inside the car, I can not really hear it from a distance, well a little but not enough.

I have been in old muscle cars that shake everything when idling. But I know we cant sound like this but I do want to show off the power of the S2000 when idling when revving low and when revving higher.

I have heard many loud Civics and integras when they are racing down the streets and its loud but annoying and obnoxious, it doesnt have any power qualities.

I hope this post makes sense, if not I apologize.

If you make your car louder at idle, it will be carried over to when it is revved. Putting on a single pipe cat back exhaust and removing the baffle core will get what you want but you must also want to be a cop magnet too.

I have a Tanabe Super Medallion and it's louder at idle, but not by much. After VTEC it may be a little louder than stock but it sounds about the same to me.

I believe the APEXi WS will give you a similar sound.

Bear in mind that neither of these will give you any noticable power gains.

Some exhaust systems have a baffle core that is removable. This core is located at the tip. An example would be the single pipe system like an N1. If you remove the core, it becomes even louder.
