Saw the yellow at Sharper Image. I went back last night to get it at Woodfield Mall, and they sold the last yellow, and their last red. They still had two more blacks. They sold the Silvers out two days before X-mas.

From what the sales guy said, they had no less than 30 S2K's before X-mas, and now were sitting on only two.

Did someone here from the board buy the yellow, I was going to go back for!!!

You can order these from a model car web site, but they are close to $40 after shipping. You can find these same models in stores for $19.

Boxing Day Special: I picked up the Silver/Red Maisto 1/18 yesterday at a local supermarket for only $10 Canadian. That's like, what, 37 cents U.S.? Okay, maybe closer to $6.50 U.S.

As my on-order car is silver/black, I'm thinking of painting the interior with the touch-up paint that came with my black Prelude.

This supermarket also had a "Japanese model" S2K, same colour (er, color) scheme but a bigger scale and with the steering wheel, of course, on the right. Cost -- $20 Canadian.

 

this RC looks sweet! anyone know if anyone makes rims that really look like this? i'd probably takem in something around a '17

 

Just ordered the HPI Honda S2000 and the HPI Honda Prelude 1/10th scale lexan bodies. Only cost me $39.00 for both from Tower hobbies.

These bodies will sit nicely on my old arse Team Associated RC10L.

"What color will you paint them," you ask.

The only color that looks fast standing still AND looks classy. . .High Gloss BLACK, sorry Greg.
