I looked at RX8's for a while and their reliability and re-sale value is just pitiful. They cost a buttload new as well.

I think the new Civic SI could serve as a great daily driver and be somewhat fun.

The latest iteration of the WRX is great value for money as well.

I came back from an Evo to the S2000 for the sheering driving experience, the Evo felt like a Lincoln TownCar compared to the S2000

RX-8 if you're willing to shell out the gas money.
Civic Si
VW R32

I haven't driven an R32 but from what people have told me it's a highly recommended alternative choice if you can't get a S2000. Love the exhaust note.

If you're having to chauffeur family around then cool but if it's friends... just get an S. Make them get their own cars.

I agree I bought this car for ME! I have a wife and 3 kids and a dog, they get the family van. Selfish but at my age I can be.

[QUOTE=ZDan,Jun 5 2009, 08:09 AM] RX-8 is essentially a 4-seat S2000 coupe.

Only the Mugen RR civic, but it is rare and expensive. Here is a video comparing it to a S2000.
