I should have stayed home today...
According to the witnesses who got his plate, he actually got my car with the FRONT of his truck?! WHAT?! I understand if you dont realize how long your truck is, but they said he got it with the FRONT OF HIS TRUCK!? UGH
My brother in law parked his nice limited edition Vette on the far side of a lot all by itself and it was hit by a lady even there! (She left her info/not a hit and run) You can do what you can but sometimes you are toast.
Was curious about the dash cam getting the info. It was activated by motion?

Good thing you got the info, that's a lot of damage.
Is that part of the frame rail up front that got bent near the headlight?
The obvious: New front bumper, new driver's side headlight, new driver's side front fender, paint match, etc. Easily $5,000+ after labor at a higher end shop.
Good thing is that after it is properly fixed it will be as good or *better* than before!
Hope you get a decent rental car until then under other person's insurance.

I don't have a dash cam. Been thinking about it. When I parallel park someplace (unusual for where I live unless I go to the city) I snap a pic on my mobile of the car/truck on either end just in case something happens. The S is so low it can be hard for someone else in a higher car to see it. So far it is untouched.
No offense, but can't believe you'd even blame the OP for this. Look @ the Chevy a couple of rows back; his bumper and ball hitch are at least as far out. No excuse for the guy who hit this car in a parking stall. Take your time, do it right, which includes not damaging another's property.
Blame the OP for parking too far out??????

That first pic, your car seems to be pretty far forward in the stall when compared to the other cars aside it.
Not an excuse for not leaving a note though.
Good luck with getting this settled and the eventual repairs.
......and never park with the commoners.

That was a CLEAN AP1. How many miles on that?
