I don't understand your comment. Do you believe the OP is at fault for this damage, O Moderator? I don't see where FREQ backed off blaming the OP for the damage. Maybe you're OK with blaming other people for damage you cause while operating a vehicle under your control? Fault me for requiring the vehicle operator at fault to be responsible for not colliding with objects in his immediate vicinity.

No offense, but...
You might find it useful to read the rest of the thread before getting all riled up and wearing out your ? key.

If you read the rest of the thread you might notice two things which you seem to have missed on first reading: 1) that *no one* said it was the OP's fault, not even the guy you found it necessary to take offense with; and 2) the OP posted a follow up explaining the location of his vehicle in the picture and why the vehicle was further out in the parking spot than it apparently was during the time of the impact.

So you're saying the S2000 was possibly parked farther back in the stall when it was hit and still defending FREQ for his comment? This would make your defense even more ludicrous. FREQ said the S2000 seemed far out compared to the other vehicles, which at the time of posting, would indicate FREQ thought the S2000 was parked too far into the traffic lane and at least partially at fault. If the S2000 were parked farther away from the driving lane, as you indicate from the other posts, the truck operator would have even less of a defense.

In my opinion, there is no excuse nor reason to hit another car in a parking stall, even if they're over the white line or otherwise parked disagreeably. I'm in control of my vehicle and responsible for not colliding with objects in its path. The insinuation by FREQ the OP might be at fault for another vehicle hitting the OP's car while parked, drew my initial response.

No one in this thread has ever said that the OP is to blame or is at fault. I think I have made that clear. If someone wants to infer or assume meaning that has not been stated by anyone, then that indicates a different problem altogether and it is unlikely that any amount of posting is going to fix that issue.

You complain I insulted FREQ by drawing an unjustified inference to his comment, then immediately insult me "wearing out my key". Not responsible Moderator behavior. I'm sorry you don't agree with me, but it behooves you to deescalate a situation rather than defaulting to ad hominem attacks at the offset.

On that bombshell. A bit of an update.

Rescheduled the repairs to start on Tuesday instead. I cant stand knowing what my car looks like as I'm driving, and seeing all the dirty looks I'm getting. I seriously wish I could just drive with a bag over my head. I never thought I'd be ashamed to drive a beautiful car, but you know all these people are just thinking the worst things about you when they see the damage. :/

I hope they get you fixed up good as new quickly.

The bag over your head thing could be fun though. People might think you're the Unknown Comic. (Joking! Do not put a bag over your head.)
