s2000 wasn't realy on my radar and was saving up for a Boxster S
I thought with 2.0l the honda would be like a miata or something.

One day I was bored so I went to a local garage to look at one and the guy talked me into driving it.

After that I forgot about a boxster and bought an S.

You have to drive one to appreciate one and to get in into your blood
Same story here, testing Boxster's, Z4's, SLK's, TT's and the minute i got the S in VTEC I was S.O.L.D.

I honestly used to not like S2000's because of that stupid Fast and the Furious pink one...

But then I got myself an '08 Si Sedan and the S2000 is now on top of my Wanted list

when I'm making a comment about how much I my S, my husband always has to remind me what my first comment about it was... "It does nothing for me."

oh it does something for me. Just like that Cadillac commercial says, "when you turn your car on, does it do the same for you?" OH HELL YES!

Love the comments. My response was opposite. I wanted to buy one simply on looks. I got way more than I bargained for after I signed the papers. Yes I bought one without a even a test drive because it looked sooo beautiful and the reviews were so good. Plus this was our third Honda. What I really like is that we have a world class sports car that is RELIABLE.

The Girl got one in 2001, traded in a fully paid off 1999 Accord... at the time i was like, what, you want a payment?!?! She got hers in BB, and still wishes she could have gotten a Yeller one

So ya... for the last 7 years i've had to be sure to wipe the drool from her car when i was allowed to drive it... and make sure to not drive it like *I* would cause its not *mine* etc etc...

Fell in and out of love w/ the RX-8 / 350z, never seriously went for one, new (07?) Eclipse looks good (used to have a 97) but another part of me is/was... you never SEE s2k's, if you do ya note it, i see ... LOTS of 350z/Eclipse's, RX-8 ain't far behind, I like having a car someone has to ask me "What is that?"

Finally ... finally... have my own

Didn't hurt that my mom, my bro, me (my 2000 Civic SI that supposedly in stock trim would out do her 99 accord by 1/10th of a second, her 6cyl vs. my 4cyl ) are pretty much a Honda Shop.

My bro had a BMW thing for a while there... I'm not SURE, but i think it finally lost its luster when he had some issues w/ 5th gear and the dealership said "Ya they do that some times..."

Had a beater 98 Jetta for a while, nice power, car was just plain unreliable... got rid of it when it had already cost me 3-5k in repairs and finally lost reverse and 5th gear... ::shudder::

Yep... figurin on stayin Honda for the forseeable future... in S2K Trim

My first one was in 1999 and it was the styling aspect of it that attracted me first before the engineering of it.
