to get 12's in the 1/4, I don't think it is possible to not do harm to the car, maybe you should think about getting rid of extra weight..get rid of the spare and jack and get one of those tire fix it bottles from any automotive store and also replace the battery..if you have the money maybe lighter tires.

Of course you can always supercharge it with a shot of noz

I was thinking of a little 50 shot or somethign but I would rarly ever use it.

How does the S2k hold up to nitrous? Is the zex kit the best? Im sure it will void warrenty if they find out about it right? Im sure it will mess up your car if you miss use it to as well right?
Also, it takes up our very limited trunk space too...

I think you should break in your car first b4 doing other mods, otherwise your car will be ruined for life!! you only got about 1600 miles, and you already vtec'ed!!

Attach several helium filled balloons to your antenna. That should lighten the load a bit, but it may increase drag. More R&D required on this one.

Screw 12's, try for 10's..

Just kidding.. if you want to run 12's you can try a supercharger with mods, or a turbo kit...

Why do people not think this is a track car (ie 1/4 mile) the car is very fast and if someone wants to drag it then by all means go for it. I would love to be in an area where i could go run down the 1/4 for fun drop the clutch at 7grand and try to get in the 13's bone stock. Some of you think that this will hurt the car, but if you know how to do it it will only hurt the tires LOL. But i think its cool if you wanna do somthing with your car do it and i dont think anyone should diss on someone else for doing what they want too. That is my .02 cents

I thought I read somewhere that a 50 shot/s/c would put you low 12s high 11s.?????

ya, I didnt vtec once before 600 miles. now I vtec a couple times aday. The only thing I see a problem, is the low-end torque. I launch at about 3-4k rpms, but I can't seem to go from 0-50 fast enough from a dead start. After 30, I can keep up w/ just about anything around me.

I was just about to post something similar! Seriously, some people like to drag, others like the twisties....I love both, and there is just another reason I bought an s2k! Great handling and acceleration. If someone wants to drag (and they want to drag in a fine looking automobile), and wants to drag faster, then by all means they should do it. If someone reaches out to their peer group (us) and wants our opinions on how to reach their goals safely, then IMO, we should help out.

That being said, there is very little you can do as far as mods go that will not void at least part of your warranty. If you get a SC, and it was not installed at the time of purchase of your s2k, the drivetrain portion of your warranty is gone.
If you get a nitrous system installed, and it is installed by a very experienced mechanic, then you might just get the best bang for the buck without ripping out spare tires, passenger seats, and whatever you can shave off the car. If you have the system direct ported, you might have to get another intake manifold to swap out everytime your car has to go into the shop (this is a real bitch). I have heard that nitrous can leave a deposite on the cylinder walls if your engine seizes during use...this will surely leave you without a warranty. Ok, I am done rambling...Good luck in your search for the right mod for speed + warranty, and please PM me when you find it
