Anyhow, in laymans term, you want to maintain a similar overall diameter for the tires as your existing ones. If not your speedometer will be off. Going to a larger wheel will mean your tires are "lower profile" than your existing ones.

They told you. Stick with 215/45/17 & 245/40/17. End.

EDIT: Stick with the ap2 stock tires: bridgestone re050's.
