I can live without the sound of a BOV. I love the sound of an F20C charging to 9000 rpms, wouldn't mind that accompanied by a nice supercharger whine, but sudden loud BOV noises? No

I took a few close-up shots so you can see the bypass valve and heavy brackets. I took a closer look at the brackets and without seeing the Comptech's up close I would guess that they are more than strong enough. If you look close you can see very rigid brackets on all sides of the compressor.

The bypass valve is not an annoying sound. Just a slight "swoosh" when you shift. I think it sounds good. Not too loud. I am also not for annoying over emphasized noises coming from under the hood, but this is really music, not annoying at all.

The low end power seems to start around 4K now. After I add the gauges this weekend I'll let you know when boost starts registering.

By the way, some of you sent me PM's way back in December. Sorry for not answering. I'm new to this and did'nt know about the My S2000 page. I will contact you local guys who want to come take a peek and test drive.

Could only fit a two gauge pod so I am going with boost and air/fuel.

I got an Auto-Meter gauge pod and gauges. The plastic black gauge pod fits an Acura. Should fit very well. The gauges are 2" O.D.

What do you mean adjusted? I'm guessing the Bypass valve should be good for up to 20 psi.

btw, does the Comptech SC even have a bypass valve? Because I thought SC's don't need BPV since they're always spinning, unlike turbos.

Hi,

is it necessary to reprogram the ECU, if a supercharger is used?

Thanks,
