Default Identify This Mysterious S2000 Accessory

Found this in my garage today after going through some boxes. It is left over from the previous owner. I have no clue what it is. All four sides of the carpet are sewn together and there is a seperate flat piece. It is a little crushed after being stuffed in a box.

Any ideas?

push the small circle downwards and carefully pry from the outer circle to pull out.
