Idling problem
In the last few weeks (since the weather has gotten really warm), my S2K has been having problems idling with the air conditioning on. It doesn't always do it, but it's not unusual for the engine to stall. Has anyone had this happen or have any idea why this is happening? I'm hoping it may be something as simple as dirty fuel injectors...but somehow I doubt it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I had a similar problem got honda to fix it. My car would Idle high or too low then the engine would got off when you put it in neutral. Honda found out that I had 3 Blown fuse and some wires came loose that was located in the right side fender. Honda finally fixed the stalling problem after 3 visits, the funny thing is the engine check light came after driving a block from the dealership..... - DarvinM
Mine does this too but only the first few times I use the A/C each season. The ECU has a hard time "learning" to adjust to the parasitic drag of the A/C compressor when it clutches in and out. When it nearly stalls, it is probably on one of it's "clutching in" cycles. Do not attempt to correct it with throttle as this only causes the ECU more confusion. Let is almost die a few times and it will eventually "learn" to increase the revs during those times. Mine does.
Also, if you live in a place that has winter, then as you head from fall to winter and the outside temps begin to dip down to a few degrees above freezing, you may find that the engine will die or almost die the first few times the temp drops and you have parked the car outdoors overnight. This too, the ECU will "learn". Mine does this every fall and it takes about 3-4 "near-death" experiences for it to "smarten up".
If it doesn't "smarten up" after a few driving cycles, then look to your dealer as it may be something else as stated by "pinoydarv". Unless you love leaving your car at the dealer, just have a little patience with it.

Dave, you have the patience of a saint.
I asked the dealer to look into this as it is in for the 15,000 mile service.
I just hate sitting at a signal light and have the thing drop to 700 or 800 rpms.
