Truthfully, I would rather use the money spent on a HT for a turbo set up. Or even a nice coilover and wheel set up!!

Gosh, I'm over being stock!

How long does it take to take on/off the HT. I love driving w/ the top down and do it all the time when its sunny out, but I do live in the city and think I would enjoy the HT, but it sounds like everybody who has one just keeps it on and goes without going convert.

Any HT guys out there that swap it out on a regular basis?
It is just four latches and lift off . I could have it off in about 5 seconds. the only down side is you need another person. The shape makes it a two person job, not the weight (roughly 44lbs)

The S is my DD and I have absolutely no ineterest in getting a hardtop. I love the convenience of top up or down at the push of a button!
I bought this car as a daily driver. And I have put 77,000 miles on it. Most of them with the top down!

About three years ago, I bought an MR2 (MRS/ZZW30/third gen) which is convertible. at the time I could have careless if it was a convertible. until I had it for a couple of months....... I hooked.... the top was down most of the time.... then I got an FD and sold my MR2..... after having the FD for a while I missed the convertible...... so now here I am, sold the FD and got the s2000

convertible = FTW

I DD my S, and have a hard top. Great car.

I bought My S in Chicago, the week before Thanksgiving, with a hard top on. The hard top came off in April, and I HATE driving with the soft-top up. The soft-top window is dinky, so visibility stinks, and I hate having that hard, sharp-looking hinge right next to my head. Oh, and it's really noisy too.

The only time my top is up is when it's sitting in the parking lot at work, or I get caught in the rain. Otherwise, it's hard top or no top.
