if Honda offered a SMG transmission, like the 3rd gen 7speed unit found in the BMW V10 M5, would you pay ~$2k for it??

btw i heard that contrary to original plans, BMW WILL offer manual tranny for the new M5..

If it was a good SMG system, and they reduced the weight to compensate for the transmission, such that the end result was better performance...I'd consider it.

probably not. the manual is really good but i would consider it just so my gf can drive my car. feel bad about that

no way. It would destroy the car. Although I am kind of surprised Honda didn't add an automatic transmission option when they softened it.
