I wouldn't pay $2k for it.

I am interested enough to have wanted to test drive a Z4 with SMG. Unfortunately, the BMW dealer's only SMG car wasn't working.

The 6 sp in the S2000 is one of the best "feeling" trans. I've ever experienced. Too bad it's a little weak...

that's a 'no' from me.

All SMG's (on Z4, M3, 645) DO come with clutches. Downshifing is voluntary

I used to be "anti-SMG" too, until I drove a 360. Now I wouldn't hesitate to get one if I could.
