I would get one only if it was like the DSG (twin-clutch selector) like in the TT 3.2.

The S2000 is the perfect car for that since it has such a narrow powerband. An even better tranny would be a true sequential (like a motorcycle). I would drop $5K for a sequential.

You bet, keep both hands on the wheel, one foot on the go pedal, and the other pushing me back in the seat, and changing gears and the speed of sound, and a overdrive for long freeway trips

I have driven M3's with both and prefer the 6speed manual over the smg. The BMW guys I know say the smg does not preform as well. ymmv
