Are you kidding?
Again, it was a joke. Do you not remember the comment about the AP2 not being real a page back? . Seriously, get outta here, you've ran your course in this thread.

I'm not going to read all the posts in this thread, because I know how these things go and don't care to get involved. I'll just say that I'm very glad I'm not making my decision this year. I wanted a first year S2000 back in '04, for lots of reasons that only matter to myself, but I also wanted a new car rather than a used one, and even back then I had a hell of a time finding just the right first year car (had to be like new for all intents and purposes). Now, with the CR in the mix, I just don't know what I'd do. LOL, I might go nuts trying to decide.

I *think* (but am by no means certain) that I'd still go with the first year car, for the same reasons I went that way back in '04. The car I have now doesn't have quite as much grip as the CR, and it does not (yet) have cornering that is as flat, but it's a lot quicker and a lot faster, so if I could find a like new first year car this late in the game I'd probably still take the same path. I have had absolutely NO regreats over the choice I made back in '04, but it would be a lot harder to decide today. The CR is just too nice to ignore.

Thanks guys,
I really enjoyed all of the posts. I am leaning toward 2005 or 2006 since it will be my daily driver. however, i am strangly attracted to the 2003 and the 9k redline but the AP2 is most likely going to be the winner. I will let you all know when i find the right one.
-Thanks again

Either a 2008 CR or 2003 AP1... when I got mine, I didn't know that they had glass rear windows in any AP1s...

I'd do an 02-03, but since I've put a glass window on my 01 it doesn't really matter.

I'd take any year, the differences are minor.
In the end they're all the same model of a kick ass car, plus every MY has a droptop!

I would stick with 02 because it's the only year GPW came with an all red interior.
