Hey WRS2K,

I take it that the insurance company totalled the car. Glad to hear that you decided to buy another S2K. There really is no other car like it, for the price.

yo superfly, the '02 w/ red interior have a "RED" interior vs. lots of red trim. Entirely RED interior might be scary, don't know, haven't seen the effect yet in living color

Mark, thanks for the support. It's pretty funny that I am getting the new S2000 jibbies all over again. Didn't think it could or would happen. I actually wanted a black/red at my first go-around, but went white/red instead. I love both, but black/red was actually my very first choice.

And, yeah, I was talking about the '02 black/red. They're just not a lot of them made. Low demand. I believe for 2000-2001 models, the black/red combo is the rarest. I've only seen one on the road here. I'm guessing that the '02 xxx/red combos will be even more rare than '00 or '01 xxx/red combos.

Ben,

Sent you an e-mail with my opinions. If you do get another S2000, I would not get a black one. Knowing how hard you work you won't have time to keep it clean. Black is the worst color to have where it rains. The best color to maintain is silver, then white. G'luck with your search.

I love the black models, they are so reflective when I drive side by side with it in our meets/drives I get to see myself and my red calipers showing thru the Volk GT-N in motion. Especially, DouglasS2000 and his RaceGlaze Wax. It is like driving next to or in front of a full size mirror.
