[QUOTE=GPW03,May 17 2007, 09:42 PM], and this the 2nd time within 1 week you post this whinning bit. In your other post you said "I need a vacation., I'm letting this place get to me."

Wine and Cheese Part 1

Why post up again about it? It's a forum, people are going to complain, posts useless info or topics.

If you don't want to listen to the smack talk, come on over to S2KCA.
I hear ya. XViper recently made me a most generous offer to join his group over there, and I really do want to spend some time with you guys. If this idea works the way I hope it's going to save me a lot of time later on, so maybe I'll be able to make that happen.

Thanks for the invite. I know enough about S2kCA to feel honored.

do you have a shorter version?

No, sadly, but at least it's the final version, unless somebody comes up with some difference or improvement I missed.

Maybe I can include a short summary of just the differences at some point, without any information on any of the things they accomplish or change, but at the very least I need to give people time to point out any ommissions or errors I've made.

I'm sure almost anybody else but me could have made it shorter, and I appologize for my verbosity.

The show must go on... time stops for no one, or anything for that matter. Its called evolution, and no not the Evo from Mitsu ... but just evolution of our cars through time.

As a new proud owner my sole decision of getting an S is as MX5 so ellequently stated, was its heritage, its history, where it has come from, the meaning behing the build, the meaning, the purpose. The S has has a very long history with us here in the US. Thus we should all be proud of owning an S regardless weather is an AP1 or AP2. Things change, time change, so who gives a rats a$$ about which one is faster, better, or well outdated.

The main idea here is that we are all in this together since this vehicle is an exclusive piece of machinery that from the beginning was destined for greatness, and to the halls of fame.

The Flagship of Honda still rocks after 8 years of production, buit in Suzuka, Japan with 100% imported parts from Japan. We are unique in every wich way as the cars we drive.

If is one thing we should be doing is continue to represent and enjoy our beloved jewels from the East.

My 2 cents to this discussion.

to MX5 for having the Cojones to post this ongoing waste of bandwith issue in this particular forum and try to deal with it taking down the ignorance and barriers of communication of many when confronted with this issue.

Good post.
Thank you. I wish someone with an F22C would say that, because then I'd know that at least one of them sees facts for what they really are. At this point I'm still left wondering.

Do you see anything I over looked, or anything negative about the F22C?
Was anything I said unfair or biased in any way?

Or you could just not click on those threads if it bothers you that much.

i can appreciate you view, but jesus if the thread title has ebonics, or Ap1 vs. AP2, or "what should i buy?", or "do intakes work?". just DONT click it. stick to your favorite areas and friends and you will enjoy the site as much as ever.

i think you might be taking the site to personally. you have to realize that the S2000 is getting more affordable for younger ex-civic,integra,accord owners and they are bringing their level of maturity which is low, with them. it was bound to happen. let it go. they will be shunned back to HT and leave the site, as many of them have. just lurk over at HT and watch the BS fly, and the trash talking reguarding this site.

you know what? who the hell cares? i dont, you shouldnt.

in the words of nacho libre, "take it easy."

Red,
I have been a member I think for 5 years. When the F22 came out it seemed that there were 2 S2KI groups and it continues today.

Just because there are 2 differant engines does not mean there are 2 differant cars. Hell look and the Porshe 911, how many iterations of that engine are there. Corvette, how amy types of engines are there. I can speak to these 2 cars as I have owned both and when the groups get together they speak as if it is the same car. So what you are says I am in complete agreemant. The smack talking rally does need to end.

This maybe the rambling of an old man, but I feel better because someone else is tiried of all the BS talk, just my opinion.

I just want to say that, yes, I did participate in that thread and mentioned that I would take the 2.2 motor over the 2.0, but I said it as my opinion and also described why I would take it over my current one if given the chance. I think most people DO agree with you, but they get caught up in the moment and spout out some crap when they see the same thread come up.
