I'm 5'6". When I sit at a table with others I'm the same height, but when I stand up I'm considerably shorter. I have no trouble reaching the pedals.

Are you having trouble reaching the pedals or are you having trouble seeing over the hood?

I'm 4'10" here. Personally, I adjust the seat so that I can comfortably reach the pedals (just close enough so that I can fully depress the clutch). Then I deal with the height issue with some sort of cushions. I may look for a more permanent solution in the future, but I didn't want to raise the seat back, rather just the seat bottom. I've seen purpose built wedge cushions for shorter drivers, but I found them to be very uncomfortable. Best of luck with the new ride.

John, I'm attempting to post a few shots of my raised seat. After reading your post again, (and some of the responses). I'm not sure if my solution will help much. My issue was with seeing more of the road over the hood...sitting higher. Sounds like you're trying to get closer to the pedals (?). Anyway, hope you can get an idea of what I was trying to describe, from the pics. First pic is front of seat, other two are rear of seat. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions. Oh, again, at your own risk.
