Looking for a cheap way of increasing some sound on the s2000. Thinking about changing the stock tips for some aftermarket ones but dont know if it would sound that good. Would taking out the resenator help out the sound..I didnt want to replace the stock mufflers. Any suggestions.. Thanks

 

i dont think we have a resonator, just the cat, and the mufflers, but im not sure.

A tip will not make any difference at all though.

 

There is a resonator - I am not clear on what the thread creator's question is - "some sound? - what does that mean. Noisier exhaust? Different tone? You need a catback, or remove the resonator, to do either.

 

Unless you get a whistle tip...Whooo Whooo!

Yes we have a resonator.

Not sure if removing it will make a difference. Try a search on resonator and "weiner" (there was a long discussion on this..lol) and you might find the thread where someone tried removing it.

 

Or attach the Tornado he bought...
