information needed for s2k
hi guys
i am planning to purchase this lovely car this upcoming summer
i love the look, and the performance that this little car provide, but for some reasons i dont really know much about the conditions and its problems
i owned a honda del sol, which has been fully modified,
but as most old car goes, the longer they are, the worse they become
i would like to go with s2k as it resemble del sol in some way,
and i do have some questions which i really will appreciate if u guys can give any solutions to it
first of all the negotiable price, what will be the best price i should go for the car?
secondly, the comfort and the ride, i was worried since s2k has a convertible top, will it cause many noises from the road and the engine respectively?
lastly what was the general problems which occur on most owners, can i have some short list on this?
any comments will be appreciated,
thanks

good choice!!
good price of course is anything lower than MSRP for a new 2002 one. but sine you are in Bay Area, MSRP, or $1000-$1500 over MSRP is not bad either.
In my opinion, comfort and ride is very good for this kind of Sportscar.
problems.... always check the engine oil level for the first 7500 miles, not all Honda dealers can trust for services, OEM tire gone too fast (but that is for every high performance tires)....do a search, you should be able to find more...but nothing is a big deal...
good luck and hope you get your s2000 soon.

thank you for your fast reply
last month i took a test drive on one of my friend's acura rsx, and the car produce a very loud sound that comes both from the engine and the road, i was wondering if anybody can describe a little about the comfort and the noise pollution in s2k, because in a way, i want to have a car that both combiningly comfy and sporty.
is it possible to get this car 33000 out the door from most dealer ?
the msrp that i read was ranging from 32400 to 37840 *in carsdirect.com
once again, thank you
