If you look at the post I put up with the link to my photo's, the top (in the box) fit into a pickup truck....photo's show it in the back on the link http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...?threadid=11211
On the contents (number of parts) NONE were missing, I just photographed some of the parts and there were 2 each of many for the two sides of the car!
Hope the photo's of the top in the box in a truck help.
It was a 2001 Toyota Tundra....

Re the VIN emblem that goes on the inside of the hardtop at the rear (it says "This hardtop made especially fot VIN ________) It is NOT in the box with the hardtop or kit. It was mailed to me separately by the dealer (I boought mine from an out of town dealer). Apparently it is mailed directly to the dealer.

When mine came in the VIN plate was ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX.
This was the 1st Hard Top ordered by this dealer and they got a letter from Honda stating this was a "made to order" top and that "inventory levels would increase" and then they could order the top and THEN order the VIN plate later after the sale......
My BOX had my last name and VIN # printed on the outside and stated "SPECIAL ORDER RUSH DELIVERY for VIN #_____ and last name _______.
So now that they have some hard tops in the states, I think the VIN thing is a little easier...

Hope this helps!

General,

WOW! Your car looks awesome! I hadn't seen the other thread 'til now. One of your photos is now my wallpaper, and the hardtop has moved up on my priority list (I also have a black/black)!

Thanks too, for leading me to the truck/crate photos. It tells me what I needed to know!

LATEOTT

THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS!
If you want any of the original photo files, e-mail me and I will send them to you! On the one in my "signature" the receiver/dryer was taken out of the photo using Photoshop since you can see it through the grill and it really shows on Black cars....
By the way.....YOU got the BEST color! (and me too!)
Black/Black!

A couple of pics of my hardtop in place. I tried this before and it didn't work. Let's see what happens here.
