Default Installed OEM Hardtop

I've been trying to align the OEM hardtop according to specs for couple weeks now, still can't get it centered, it is slightly off to the right, by 4-5 mm, I tried every single adjustment possible, still no luck. the only thing I didn't do is loosening the front latches, as they need impact screw driver to loosen the screws. problem is that left door is little tight to close, and it's putting some pressure on the window, I did adjust weather stripping and moved it as far as possible away from the window, still pretty tight compared to driver's door. can somebody suggest some trick to get it properly centered? would adjusting front latches help left/right positioning ?
take a look at the pics, they are not that clear, but at least you can have an idea about the problem.
I don't want to go to the dealer, they still want $800 to fix it, there is no way I am dishing out this kind of money for such a problem.
hope somebody can help?

Don't know if this will help since my HT fit perfectly outta the box.
On each side at the bottom of the headliner next to the roll hoops there is a small panel.
Pop both panels off and there are three or four bolts on each side.
Loosen all 6 or 8 and see if you can align ftom there. GL

Edit- I'm assuming that these bolts have something to do with lateral movement of the top. If not, you'll have to try something else.

I did loosen them, that how I've been adjusting the HT. I got it right front/rear, but still stuck left/right.

Man I don't know. Can you push the top in place using a lot of force?
It sounds like your only a couple of millimeters off since it's just alittle tight against the window.
Maybe you can push in place and then have someone else on the inside tighten the bolts for you.

Out of curiosity, what was the dealer going to do to earn $800?
Did he mention any type of repair that might be needed?
Also, was your car ever in a crash?

^I agree $800 was way over quoting considering mine was INSTALLED for less than half of that. find a new dealer and let them do it if you cant figure it out.
