Only other thing i can think of is, did you do the ballpean hammer thing
before you installed the side catchers. One part of those pieces has
to be beaten in some so the catcher will fit right.

Edit... My son and i installed it in less that 2 hrs, and we were clueless when we started.
I did that, what's killing me is that I am only 4 mm off, maybe somebody else consider this perfect fit, but I am kinda obsessive compulsive about things.

4 mm isn't much, but its enough of a gap that it would bother me too.

The only way to move the HT left or right is to unscrew the 2 vertical screens from each side of the hardtop adjustment plates. Those do left/right, while the 3 screens on each side do up/down/forward/backward.

Front latches should not do anything for left/right adjustment.

nearwater4me - be careful trying to adjust the top off the car. It may be the easiest way to do it but it will be a lot harder to get it adjusted correctly off the car. I tried it that way and finally put it back on the car and adjusted it and it was much less hassle (too much trial and error the other way)

Good luck!

so you've tried looseining all five screws on each rear catcher and then tried to adjust the hardtop laterally, with the rear catch engaged, and still were uanble to get it centered? I'm wondering if the HT is deformed. I installed mine this past Monday and once loosened the 5 screw on each of the catchers, I was able to get it aligned.

How much more can you move the bolts on each side on your hardtop? do still have some leeway?
do you have some wind noise over 65mph on the corner of windshield and HT near the sun visor?

You can loosen those bolts almost all the way. In fact I had to loosen both sides (i.e. have both sides loose at the same time) considerably until I was able to get the top to drop in. I then adjusted it as best as possible and tightened it all up. It fits fine. I don't have any considerable noise the sun visors, but I do get some wind noise near the lower portion of the A-pillar, which doesn't have anything to do with the HT.
