I've noticed in some pictures that some people have insulation under their car's hood and some don't. At first I thought it was just 00 models that had the insulation but I saw a 01 posted tonight with the insulation too. Mine is a black 01 without the insulation. How many people have insulation under their hood and how many don't?

 

Hmmm, My Black Prelude has no insulation as well. Maybe its a color thing. Black Gets hot as hell on the outside in the sun so the temp difference between the outside and the underside of the hood is less than say a white car.

 

My Red '01 has the insulation on the hood. Both of my previous Preludes did not -- '94 Black and '99 White.

 

my red 2001 s2k has the insulation.

 

My 01 Silverstone has the insultation.

 

None on my "00

 

Mine actually does have it.
