Three cars including the S2000 for me in Ohio is only $1400 a year with high coverage (have to protect my business) and a $250 deductible. Some of you are making two car payments a month... ouch.

I just got my car hadn't had a chance to check what my insurance would be yet. Most of you guys had me scared! For my wife and myself, it's 450.00 every six months here in Florida, not bad, I was quite happy with that quote actually .

You know one thing is very intersting. I called my insurance agent yesterday to find out how much "more" if I get a 2003 z06. He told me my insurance will go down $200 every 6 months.. I guess convertible is always high insurance vechile.

FRIG!!! My now old insurance didn't even want to cover my S anymore.A$$holes should have told me that they may not renew my policy back when I bought it in May. Oh well they did me a favor because my new company gives me more coverage for my 2 cars and cost $250 less a year(total about $1900.00 a year for two cars, 02 S w/full coverage, 91 camry w/the basic)

I can't believe that you didn't inquire about your insurance premium before you bought the car!

BTW, it sounds about right for this car driven by a person of your age. Just don't get a ticket otherwise you'll really be SOL.

Well, I guess you learned your lesson...

46 years old and my policy is $988.00 per year, in New Jersey. Clean record, no accidents, garage kept. However, I don't commute to work with it. I work from home, so that probably keeps the cost down.

The trick is to have a great driving record and be married. I am 27 with 1 speeding ticket. My S2000 is insured as a weekend driver and I pay around $38/month.

When I was 23 I tried to by a C5. My insurance would have been about $500/month.

I called my agent for a quote (I'm not an owner yet) and he quoted me a little over 600 for 6 months for an s2k and 94 Toyota 4x4. For the other 6 months the car is in storage it will be 137 for fire and theft. I am 33 w/ 1 speeding ticket and the co. is State Farm. When I told my agent what car I wanted a quote on he had never heard of it. This always cracks me up.
