Thanks guys. I've already gotten a few quotes for a pair of Recaro Pole Positions and rails. I plan on saving the rest of the money for a rainy day.

The Insurance didn't cover the entire seat, only the Leather parts. The check was for $4,871.xx. I have a $1000 deductible so I'm getting nearly $4,000.

I have State Farm Insurance and I pay $130 a month for Full Coverage.

Do us a favor and don't open your mouth next time. You have no right to judge someone else for making a simple mistake. Blame the assholes who cut it, not the owner. What makes you think they wouldn't have just cut the top?
Someone had to let him know how dumb it was so he wouldn't do it again.

Because you're the voice of intelligence?

Be careful of throwing stones from your glass house, buddy. It has a way of biting you in the booty.

Artric, play nice. No e-thuggery in S2000 Talk.

The OP didn't do anything wrong.
I speak from experience:

Just wondering whats the point of someone slashing your seats ?
If you left the top down, they could've taken your seats in less than 5 mins.
I find myself asking the same question after reading this thread.

If vandalism is the reason, why just the seats? There is no mention of damage to the paint or body so I'm assuming only the seats are damaged. It would seem easier to inflict damage to the body or wheels/tires without getting in the car and risk being caught.
