I bought my '00 S when I was 20. Full coverage with a $50 deductible was less than $50/mo with a second car on my policy.

This was in Kansas though, where it's dirt cheap to insure vehicles. I'm 22 and in Indiana now, and it's just over $60/mo.

Call or go online to get quotes. There are too many variables involved. Just what do you intend to do with our guesses? It's not going to look good for you if our figures are significantly lower than the real thing.

where you live has a TON to do with the quote prices. If you quoted the same car in LA and in Topeka, KS....you'd probably pay 3X as much in LA!

Hawaii is probably fairly higher insurance rates...my brother lived in Maui for several years.

If you can insure it full coverage for under $300/month with a $500 deductible I'll be surprised.

well. i did some online fill in the blanks quotes and i got a couple that would be around 1200/6mo from progressive and geico.
still gotta call them see if i can get a more accurate quote.

then i called an allstate agent said if i had gotten the car within 1mo of my license i would be paying 955/6mo but since i didn't i would be paying 1621/6mo.......cruel aint it.

also called state farm. NOW this lady that i talked to, didnt sound too confident in what she was doing. she didn't take much info from me, and i got a quote of 450/6mo........................i think maybe she was high? she kept telling me. "you should call allstate again."

anyways.
hopefully when i call progressive and geico their online quote will be somewhat acccurate.
hopefully.

For progressive, the quote is the rate they'll give you, to the dollar. You can purchase your whole policy on their website even. Expect the rate to be the same as when you were online.

Price doesn't sound so bad, considering that you've only been licensed a year.
