I'm 21, living in California. 500 deductible and clear record.

94 civic - $140mo
06 nfr s2000 - $112mo

newer is definitely cheaper.

Did you replace your other S with the CR, or did you add this as an extra car to the policy? If it's an extra car without an assigned full-time driver, I would expect it to be a lot lower.

Might be because of the added safety features like VSA..

2002 honda s2000 insurance through allied insurance, full coverage, with $500 collision deductible, and $100.00 comprehensive deductible (vandalism,theft), and all i pay is $72.00 a month.

Okay, the point of the thread was that insurance costs for the same driver were cheaper for a new S2000 than an old one. This has now turned into one of the ubiquitous: "How much do you pay for your insurance" threads....
