hey everyone, im 23 years old and am wanting to buy a honda s2000 off my auntie, reason being is she offered it to me for a very good price. the only thing is im 23 years old and got 3 years no claims. i just went on compare the market and the cheapest quote i got was £2600 which is way to high for me. so was wondering if anyone my age or younger has insured one for aa good price and if so where?
your help and advise would be much appreciated.

2600 pounds is about 3500 us dollars ?? to be honest that sounds about right because is the insurance crazy high there to begin with ? and 23 with a sports car, their gonna rape you regardless

 

wow, that sucks. The only thing I can think of is if it's not your only vehicle, try to insure it as a "pleasure use" vehicle or something like that. My insurance company offers discounts for driver ed classes, etc. Ask your company what they've got, or shop around. Good luck!

Go talk to an actual agent, there are so many little discounts they know about that add up quick

put the car on your parents insurance and put yourself as the primary driver. im 23 and my insurance is only $1000 a year for full coverage

 

23, living in NYC which is pretty high insurance, full cover and under my parents for about 120 a month with allstate. i got a quote for the car under my name and it was 3000/6 months.
