Insurance question - pleasure vehicle
My car was hit by some lady while I was in class. I know who it was by the damage on the cars but I have no evidence to prove that its her... plus, she already denied everything.
Anyways, I was planning on filing a claim with my insurance company and bitting the $500 deductible but realized I'm over my 7500 a year limit.
Being listed under a "pleasure vehicle" with allstate, the limit of miles per year is 7500.
Do you guys know what the consequences are if they find out I'm over by quite a few miles?

I am in the insurance biz. I think they will make the adjustment to your premium at your policy renewal. I wouldn't guess they would adjust your premium mid-term.
You may be able to make an uninsured motorist claim. The deductible may be less than your $500 for collison. It just depends on your state's laws.
Good luck with it.....gotta hate dishonest people....
